All new construction will require some form of topographic survey. Typically this survey is performed before engineering design is started. Often, communication between the engineer and survey is started months before as to ensure physical features are identified correctly in the survey.
A topographic survey will identify existing ground elevations as well as locate site features such as buildings, roads, and existing vegetation. To avoid having to redeploy survey field crews multiple sight meetings and/or exhibits will be exchanged between project manager and field crew to facilitate survey consistency.
Our field crews are knowledgeable and highly experienced, having completed many different projects including surveys for roadway, pipeline, earthwork balancing, and lake-depth.
